: Read This First!
Greetings and welcome. This is my writing journal and serves a two-fold purpose: it allows me to back-up my stuff in a relatively secure server, and also to post all my stuff together so people can, if they choose, read it. If you wish to read the stories, add the journal to your friends' list; if I know you, I will add you back at my discretion. If I haven't added you back and you think I know you, send me a message. As aside important note: Putting all my stories up like this is an experiment, and if I add you, it's because I trust you. Please don't abuse that trust. As a real side note, I recommend, if you friend this journal to see the stories, unclicking the option to display it on your friends page. When I add a story, I usually do so all at once, with many entries that will flood the page.
How to navigate: the tags page is your friend. Each bit of a story will eventually be present and labeled with the appropriate tag. Each story will eventually also have a summary entry containing a bit of description, some indication of length, a rating, the reason for that rating, and of course the relevant tags that go with it. Most of them don't have titles, so the words with which they are tagged are the names by which I refer to them.
A disclaimer about these bits: I rarely write stories continuously. Once I get an idea I see a scene or situation in my head, and think about it until it becomes clear enough for me to write it down. Then I go on to the next scene. The creative part comes with filling in everything in between and coming up with an explanation. With stories I haven't really worked on, all I have are the bits I see, so they are discontinuous. Even with stories I have worked on extensively, like the Mel story and Coward's Weapon, there are still discontinuities. Often I know what happens there, but I just haven't written it down yet.
Also: I am posting this writing as it comes from my folder, without revision or polishing. Some of it is rather old. I make no promises as to quality. You have been warned.
That's all. If there's anything I need to announce, it will be up here near the top. I may occasionally edit this post to give news, etc. I'll let you know when I post Queen Thief.
